Nothing like an interview to get up close and personal with your favourite author.
In keeping with the spirit, we have interviewed authors the likes of Julie James (New York Times bestselling author of Something About You), Joanna Bourne (USA Today bestselling author of The Black Hawk) and Faraaz Kazi (bestselling author of Truly Madly Deeply). (See all interviews here)
You can click HERE to contact us for arranging an interview. Aside from being promoted on our Facebook page, it will be published on the website only. Click here to check out our existing interviews.
This includes an author going from blog to blog – rather than from store to store as they would on a traditional book tour. Depending on the author and the blog, coverage may consist of any (or all) of the following: book review, an interview session, a guest post and a giveaway. Blog tours, like traditional bookstore tours, will feature a designated number of “stops”, often 10 to 20 blogs and can roll out over the course of a week or a month. The list is usually available on the author’s website.
Again, you can click HERE to contact us for arranging a stop.
We give away a certain number of copies to the winners of a short contest organized by us. They are either judged by the authors themselves, or randomly chosen by the team here at VoB. Authors and publishers interested in using VaultofBooks as a medium for a giveaway would be very welcome. The sponsors are mentioned in the contest.
Generally they are valid only in the Indian subcontinent, but there are exceptions. A list of rules and regulations governing them, along with the giveaways currently open, can be found HERE.
In this feature, we bring to the attention of our readers an upcoming book (usually by a debut author) which we think is going to be good. We analyze our first impressions: the cover, the blurb and the buzz surrounding the author. It helps circulate the word of a pending release. A bit of a pre-release publicity, really.
Please contact us HERE if you want to get your book there and click here to see our existing Spotlight authors.
A guest reviewer is somebody who is not a permanent member of VaultofBooks, but still writes reviews for us. Sort of a freelancer, you can say. A guest reviewer should turn in his first review within the first week of joining us, but after that, there are no compulsions to write for us. You’re more than welcome to share that review with other websites who require guest reviewers.
Anyone who reads a lot and can write a decent review is more than welcome to join. Even though this website is basically run by teenagers, we have no restrictions. For more information on this, go HERE.
